In-fucking-credible - now It's Hakeem who's dropping the hints for a round 2.

The small amount that I heard after the event was very revealing about their short relationship and their concerns about how it went for each other.

It could be a simple as an advert in a student newspaper asking for volunteers. They'll have a had a chance to meet with each other, agree to the terms and conditions, and sign the waiver and legal papers (18 USC 257) that all porn sites are required to provide. The theory that they're a manufactured couple seems to be the case - if they had been in an established relationship before, they would not be discussing their "first time". I also think they talk in English because they speak different first languages. Their accents are heavily Nigerian and East European.

Here's another thing that puzzles me. Where are the gang of female friends who arrive with wine and sympathy when the shit hits the fan like this? When my wife and I had a row, there seemed to be a mysterious radar signal that went out and within minutes there'd be a horde of women gossiping and laughing in the kitchen, with the obligatory sudden silence if I walked in on them. Whatever happened in there it always worked and peace was restored in reasonable time.

It's all of the unknowns that make this my favourite apartment. There are at least four other people intimately involved in the life of Jane & Dick, and no-one really knows what the hell is going on. It's the unpredictability that makes J&D compelling viewing! You can speculate about who does what with whom and when it's going to happen, then sit back and wait through days of routine only to find that when the action happens something else takes place. Look at the recent events: Dick and Katia - a teasingly slow lead up to the sex games that everyone had been waiting for, then Dick screws it up in the most idiotic way possible; Jane and TK2 alone - what the fuck? Who on earth would have thought that would go a far as it did? This is reality gold!!!! I doubt it very much, but If this apartment's activities are indeed scripted by RLC, the writer and director deserve an award for their work - "Best Reality Soap Opera"
