ipiratemedia
MY THOUGHTS GO OUT TO THE FAMILIES AND VICTIMS. KUDOS TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN HELPING....The more violent the storm, the quicker it passes...So hear is the eye of my hurricane; the calm I am drawn to amid the chaos of my home STATE. Why do people seemed to believe that technology had stripped hurricanes of their power to kill. No hurricane expert endorsed this view. BLAME THIS ONE ON WARM WATER. PLEASE! The National Weather Service got it wrong. (IMHO) In short, weather is a nonlinear dynamical system that is ruled by uncertainty. When small changes in the atmosphere can influence the consequent weather dramatically, it becomes very difficult for weather forecasters to make the right call. (High School Shit!) This becomes even more true when the weather in which the assumption is made on has not been observed yet. I feel your pain, sorrow, and difficulties. Yes, a dark time passed over this land of ours, but now there is something like light. I have learned to weather my own storms. The chaotic whirlwind surrounding me is only meant to dizzy myself. I dance in the eye of my hurricane and hope the gusts that follow me around only touch bystanders enough to remind them that they are alive. When your world is completely flattened, you have no choice but to start over from the ground up. It can take over a decade. Anyone that watched from afar would call this a tragic catastrophe. I now know one of life’s greatest secrets; destruction breeds growth. Joey
StnCld316
It's sad anytime there is Loss of Life when such Storms happen but when State Authorities put certain Counties under Mandatory Evacuation the Residents must listen and Evacuate. If you chose to stay behind and ride the Storm out you better hope the Power of Prayer works.
