Still, if it was me, I believe I would be pitching in to help out with some of the cleaning chores regardless of what previously occurred rather than allowing my friend to do a majority of them. But that's just me. Maybe it's part of her birthday present - 'I'll do all the cleaning this time'!

It was her birthday a few days ago after all. If so, that would be a nice gesture of friendship and therefore considered to be that of a really nice present. 3
