We even have laws that prohibit fire works too loud because it can drive little dogs mad and some die. what i've noticed over the years is that europeans find any reason to celebrate anything. it's like they just can't get enough! we have laws where fireworks can not be set off in the city limits so that properties/homes can be saved due to an ash that didn't burn out before hitting dry ground.
