Taylor asks "why do you make me suffer", and gets no answer. When Kristy attacks her, Taylor doesn't allow it, a mistake. Taylor doesn't know what to do, though there are a million ways. Kristy has Taylor exactly where she want's, Red is no threat at all.

You can do what you like, Kristy has done Taylor once, so that's not out of the book. The new generation doesn't see things that way, like it or not, things change in time including ethics. 1
