Being exposed on the Internet and how it affects models.

I created this thread to discuss what happens to models here, or in cam girl sites when they are exposed to the world or even more so, to their family or people that know them. I have a few real stories of my own but I will wait to share them when we have enough people here to discuss it. Cheers!

Personally, I don't communicate with any cam girls or anyone providing nudity/sex on any porn sites. Some "performers" (Marla, for example) have participated in forum topics and are adamant about their images being private and not posted elsewhere on the internet. I laugh at this because once their naked body is shown how do you ensure 100% certainty that it will not be copied and posted elsewhere? Obviously there are ways to avoid DMCA removals and everything can not be caught since there are so many porn sites. I guess the main issue is for family, relatives, friends and employers finding out about your so-called "20 minutes of fame" where you expose your naked body in full view. Even 20 years later the images will still be on the internet. What if individuals want to make your life miserable by providing copies of your "performances" to your circle of people close to you? RLC and camarads don't allow images to be posted in open forums on camcaps or xcamfan but members/viewers can grab images for private use or "members only" topics. Still there are tons of RLC and camarads videos and pics all over the internet.

I greatly appreciate, with a big THANK YOU, women and others that freely parade around half naked, totally naked and having sex on the internet for us to see and enjoy. They have to deal with any repercussions that might happen because of this and not my problem. They have to be smart enough to realize all the possible negatives about showing themselves for whatever attention or money that they are looking for. Some models or participants might be young and naive but they make a choice and have to live with it. I know for a fact that I wouldn't do it. I am a voyeur and a bit of an exhibitionist but not for the world to see.

I am a bit further into this world so I understand a few things, and yes that includes cam ladies. Most of the women that show their bodies do not want others out side this genre to see, but in this fast-paced world I begin to see many empowered women going the other way, and they are making a shit-ton of money. Look at Holly Sonders and Paige Spirinac. They have decided to throw away conventional thinking and focus on modeling. These are highly empowered women. I would hope many women would look to them as a way to feel better about showing their bodies.
