There was never any link between Masha and the "on vacation" apartments until Nelly and Bogdan arrived there after the closure of the Russian apartments. First Piper and Taylor joined as tenants of B5, then 2/3 months later Babi became a tenant of B1, and then later in 2020 Masha visited for the first time. Masha stayed in the guest room of B2, courtesy of Nelly and Bogdan, with Piper and Taylor occupying the big bedroom. I think if the Russian apartments hadn't closed and Nelly and Bogdan hadn't moved to Barcelona, we would never have seen Masha there. Masha and Nelly later fell out and are no longer friends, but with each visit to the "on vacation" apartments, Masha made new friends among the other tenants that invited her and enabled her to continue to visit those apartments. Most notably Holly and Tereza & Timur, these three responsible for the majority of Masha's visits, with Taylor and Eva also inviting her. It's not a coincidence that for most of Masha's visits, she stayed in B4 (Holly / Taylor) or B5 (Tereza and Timur / Holly). It's been a while since we last saw Masha visit Barcelona and this is because it's been a while since she had any friends there. The arrival of Medusa changes this and creates the possibility for another visit. Val and Jul's apartment. Masha already knew Val and Jul before Val and Jul became tenants of RLC. For those that already knew that, it wasn't a surprise when they started visiting each others apartments, the only surprise is that it took so long to happen. And then there's Dasha and Sasha's apartment. Both long time friends of Masha and no surprise to see Masha visiting them. She's also spent some time in Tatiana's apartment while visiting Dasha and Sasha, and had a quick look around Adeline and Markus' apartment the last time she was there. The only other apartments that she's visited are the Russian apartments of her friends, Dasha and Demid and possibly Nelly and Bogdan.
