Use that as motivation to get some type of job. I had lost my job and couldn't get hired in the field that I had 20+ years experience. I ended up applying for something completely out of my "comfort" zone, thinking they would never hire me. They did and it's been so satisfying to learn something different. I wish I had done it 10 years ago. 1
