Out of the oil, not the engine. I run full synthetic in everything and never run over 4000 miles on an oil change. These vehicles are pre-programmed to go just so far on the recommended service intervals. Fluid changes are the cheapest insurance you can get.

The Chevrolet truck engines are 6.2, L87's. Totally different from the LS** in Corvettes. New Corvettes just burn when you fuel them up.

Yes, mine is a LS3 6.2.

My weekender is a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. When is the weekend? Who knows? I haven't touched it in a month or so. Driving isn't fun anymore.
