IMO, the only exception to this was Dick of Dick and Jane. Kos is probably also viewed more positively than negatively, but he has a secondary role in his partnership with Karol, and Karol is viewed very favorably. Maybe Wayne is another. And there are probably a few others that I have missed. I don't have an explanation for this.
