RLC doesn't instruct them to do anything.  Whatever they do, they do of their own initiative.

For once I actually agree with you, although whilst some things 'may' be encouraged, the tenants clearly have total freedom to do as they wish which is what in a roundabout way makes RLC more real than it actually is. If tenants want to play under the covers then they can, if a tenant wants to have short weekend breaks every weekend off cam, then they can, and this will continue for as long as the site is online. Tenants are the ones who essentially run the site being as they do as they wish which comes back to the 'total freedom' part about the site. I still have a copy of an actual advertisement from RLC in it's very very early says, may be even before/during start-up which did state certain things needing encouragement.
