Again , in my opinion , it is Leora’s mistake . She’s either afraid to leave Paul , explore but then be alone with nobody in her life or she’s also afraid that Paul maybe hunts her and beat her , as we saw , he has no problem if he feels inferior or insulted or whatever . Leora has chosen this life and as easily she can change it , she simply doesn’t because of either fear being left alone or harassment . Of course , I believe that she loves Paul but not anymore emotionally and as “ her guy “ but he is HER ROCK , the guy she has learned to live nearly her whole life with . 1
