Paul is having a nanna nap on the couch.

A nanna nap is a quick refreshing sleep. It is a slang term that was coined by Matthew Feeney in the late 1990s. The term is informal and is used to describe a short sleep, especially one taken by an elderly person.

Paul likes to sleep with his hand on his balls.

Men often sleep with a hand on or near their groin for a mix of biological, psychological, and comfort-related reasons. Here's a breakdown:

1. Protection Instinct
From an evolutionary standpoint, the groin is a vulnerable and vital area. Placing a hand there—consciously or unconsciously—may stem from an instinct to protect the genitals during sleep, especially in deeper, more vulnerable stages of rest.

2. Comfort and Familiarity
The position might simply be physically comfortable. Many people naturally find positions that make them feel secure or relaxed. The groin area is warm, and resting a hand there may feel calming or familiar, especially when lying on the back or side.

3. Subconscious Arousal or Soothing
The groin has a lot of nerve endings, and touching or being near it can release mild feelings of reassurance or soothing. This doesn’t necessarily mean sexual arousal—just that the area is sensitive and comforting, like how someone might hug a pillow or touch their face.

Which one do you think Paul does it for?

Leora, I know you take note of what I say. If you want to go healthy, try one or more of these teas.

For a cough and sore throat, here are some of the best teas you can drink to help soothe symptoms.

🌿 1. Ginger Tea
Benefits: Anti-inflammatory, helps ease throat irritation, breaks down mucus.

Tip: Add a bit of honey and lemon for extra soothing effects.

🍯 2. Honey and Lemon Tea
Benefits: Honey coats the throat; lemon provides vitamin C and cuts through mucus.

How to make: Just hot water, a tablespoon of honey, and fresh lemon juice.

🌼 3. Chamomile Tea
Benefits: Naturally soothing, reduces inflammation, may help you sleep better.

Extra: Inhaling chamomile steam can also ease throat discomfort.

🌿 4. Peppermint Tea
Benefits: Menthol acts as a mild decongestant and soothes the throat.

Note: Avoid if you have acid reflux, as peppermint can worsen it.

🌿 5. Licorice Root Tea
Benefits: Coats the throat and has mild antiviral/anti-inflammatory properties.

Caution: Avoid if you have high blood pressure or are on certain medications.

🌿 6. Slippery Elm Tea
Benefits: Contains mucilage, which coats and soothes the throat lining.

Very effective: Especially for dry or scratchy throat.

Pulo, take care. I'm off to bed.

Eva, settle down and stop barking. I'm trying to sleep.
