yes, i understand what you're talking about and for me, it wouldn't bother me if the car i like is not made in the color i like.  it just means it's going to cost me more to have it in the color i like and that's if i decided to buy that particular car.  i like many different cars but through and through i'm more for practicality so i would by something a lot more practical than a car for example.
