It will take only a couple of minutes for the recorded cameras to identify the “ thief “ 😁😂 , despite of course knowing that RLC wants as HELL to avoid the Police interactions . Imagine anyone breaking in and looking rather “ fool “ watching the cameras and stealing 😂😂 . This is for whoever remembers the “ funny “ face of the guy who broke into the B4 villa a couple of years ago .. 1

I can't speak for Spain but in the UK you can give the Police photos of the thief with their name and address and they still do nothing so pevention is better than cure. BTW we're not talking about a Greek Island with a poplulation of 10 people, over 1.5 million people live in Barcelona so catching them will take a little longer than 5 minutes, besides thieves hide their face by wearing balaclavas when they see cameras. As an aside is petty crime still very low in Greece? when I had family that lived on Crete in the 1990's they told me that anytime a bag was stolen on the beach it was almost guaranteed to have been taken by a tourist, the Greeks being very honest people.
ddhm Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I am aware of such issues in the UK , my aunt is from England and had some discussions with her and some of the “ weird “ rules there . We are 110,000 where I live , we welcome around 2,5 million people from very late March ( 27-28 March ) till the first 15 days of November ( and November is just for the last catch up moments before going in winter hibernation 😂 ) , quite a lot in such a short period , crime is nearly invisible , we might get one or two major incidents per year , mostly is just some “ light “ robberies , money related in shops or accommodations but hardly even impacting the tourism field . I think we are lucky with all that . Things have changed of course , there’s a lot of drugs issues , mostly weed since it isn’t allowed and police is really strict with that , the island is considered a paradise to find and consume 😂 but that’s it . According to what we see in the news daily, here is like living at another solar system 😂 1
