She wants to be close to her apartment, so this is the reason. and she specifically said she will not bring her friends/dates to the cameras, when Vivi told her she hopes to find dates who will agree to be on cam, thats when she said all the stuff that she has an apartment and she will keep using it for this. Maybe she lives with family, and that's the reason why she doesn't think it's a loss of money. She did mention she has family in Spain, like close family (Mom and etc...) 3

She's thinking money... and by doing money with the bare minimum she has to do (be there a few times a week, be naked, masturbate). She could do nothing at all, so at least she does this. Maybe with time, she will be more attached to this and feel comfortable sleeping or bringing her dates.
