Oh yes, what i meant was - If the person/people come in to it with the wrong mentality, then THIS online life only makes things worse. Plenty of people can handle it, but sometimes they show themselves in all the wrong ways....Like this. Background checks can only do so much.

Ellie is a narcisisst. Every action between when she was confronted and now just served one thing and that is to make herself feel better about herself. These types of people know exactly how to play with peoples emotions. She knows exactly what Sayn needs right now as he's the emotionally vulnerable person and probably has 1000 things on his minds, 500 of which are questions of "can i somehow save this and still trust her". A manipulative bitch like her will make sure to play into those emotions so this whole thing ends up with him begging her to stay while she already moved on long ago. Now her cheating is forgotten and her ego is stroked again as the person who's desired. Anybody with a little bit of experience in their life knows these kind of people inside out because they are predictable and shallow
