I think you're right in that L&A really do have concerns along the lines you describe, but from my point of view, that's a rather negative sign for their suitability for the Barcelona apartments. The Barcelona apartments are based on the idea that residents truly live together. This requires people who enjoy this lifestyle and build connections with others. That's where the confidence that they wouldn't steal anything should come from, and of course, besides the fact that this room is under three camera 24/7 video surveillance, and any thief would have to be brain dead to steal anything there.

If thieves were above being braindead, the world wouldn't need jails. How many people do you think have been locked up for thieving despite the presence of CCTV? The RLC cameras do not make theft a zero possibility event - same as they haven't prevented assault and rape. L&A were perfectly right to count their cash on returning home, irrespective of who was in their room, and especially so after returning to find that one person present, who by way of being a long term friend of Lun's, who therefore should have been the person showing the most respect towards Lun, already took more than given permission to.

L&A's checking of their valuables makes even more sense in the context of them barely knowing Kaya and never before meeting the guy.

Strangers steal from strangers. Friends steal from friends. Cameras do not deter everyone, and the possibility of being caught deters no thief at all.

I'm starting to think some people here are deliberately trying to be angry, about nothing. People who steal something from a store (etc.) hope that they will remain unrecognized despite video surveillance. In this case, that is not possible. Everyone would know immediately who did it, when it happened, etc. Everything would be saved in replay for days, so even if it were only discovered days later (which is practically impossible), it would be practically impossible not to know who did it.  There is practically no place as safe as one of the bedrooms at RLC.

This should be easy to understand for anyone who has the right mindset to live in the Barcelona apartments. Again, I think L&A are simply the wrong people if they are genuinely so deeply affected by something like this.

A whole conversation about the wine and bedsheets whilst L&A were on a Christmas vacay yet when they are there in B5, CC members hardly ever comment 🤔

Initially I was trying to minimize it in my mind, but after I put myself in their shoes, I flipped.
No one in the world wants a stranger sleeping or  going thru their stuff, possibly passing details on to some junkie on the street. And sure RLC has everything recorded but do you think they would take action? First it would need to be pretty blatant and 2nd,  I suspect RLC wants to keep as low a profile as possible with the authorities.

Unfortunately Gelia was the gate keeper that night and that’s where the buck stops. Very bad judgment on her part. Lun and Ada’s security was violated, the one place where they should feel the safest, and that may be hard to get past. It’s really common to feel this way after an event like this, so they are entitled.

Question: Are the two at all worthy of "comment"🤔

Not at all ...I've seen more comments about the cat living at B4 and B7 AND people's personal lives in a couple of the forums despite there being DM's for that sort of chat.

Drama in the house ...Lunette still livid and speaking in English over things happening in the bedroom. Wonder if she reacts the same when she finds out other people have stayed in the bed in a hotel room if she's ever stayed in a hotel room where the bed is essentially NOT hers like the one B5 isn't.

Some people use DMs to have their discussions about tenants and apartments, rather than do so as posts. L&A have generated plenty of comment, some here just aren't seeing it.

I don't want to downplay it. I just want to make it clear that there is practically no harm done. The bed has been remade, and this idea that the Kaya and guest should be judged in a way like thieves is simply ridiculous. The security of the two was not endangered either, even if they would have been in the apartment at that time, no one would have attacked them just to have sex in that bed. ::)

It's just artificial fuss about nothing, and that from a couple who are practically irrelevant to RLC. The result is that L&A are now even more isolated, and that there is now a second apartment next to B1 where the mood is at an all-time low. The best solution to the problem is to ask L&A to leave the project as soon as possible. They don't have the mindset necessary for Barcelona apartments.
