I live in a town of 195,000 ...often we have power cuts due to bad weather and it's often only several hundred properties ...not every single property. If a substation has been hit in the North of the town, then only those in the North will be affected.

As can be seen from the B2 balcony the weather looks much better today, the fact that the city where power will be routed underground while up in the hills where the villas are by overhead power cables makes a world of difference in terms of risk to failure, it doesn't matter if its one property or a million, if the power goes off, its off.

I'm sure the girls are inteligent enough to leave the house if needed and head for the city as and when they need but I agree no electricity for over 24 hours isn't good, especially after dark, but you know what, life carries on.

Originally there were 3 substations in the area that were out, one is now back on line and the most likely one for B4/B7 is being reported as being restored within the next hour, the latest update being posted just now so progress is being made.

Yea some people simply don't, or don't want to understand the reality of how utilities work.

I just asked a friend who lives nearby, you can also look yourself, the area has a few public outdoor cams it also shows that the weather is calm at the moment

Il fatto e’ che le ville hanno sempre avuto questo problema di interruzione di corrente, anche quando c’era bel tempo. E comunque non sappiamo veramente il problema reale

The local substation showed 7 properties being out of power so very much a local fault affecting a few properties, that substation fault was removed from the outage map at 15.45 so the power should now be back on, another SS nearby reports only one property being affected, that was reported as being fixed by 16.00 but has now been updated to 17.30

Given the UM mask we see is put up by RLC the power is most likely now back on.

The weather looks much better than yesterday, you can see B2 from this one 😉

That means nothing... if there were destruction of electricity or internet lines because of bad weather and wind yesterday... it won't be fix today only because the weather is better 😉 

It can take time to fix it 😞
