The girls also need to keep on top of cleaning and ensuring there's little to nothing left that will lure the rats out at night. Also ...I think vermin experts know better than any of us what works and what doesn't. What does work though is the removal of food spills/leftovers and liquid ...this way it's unlikely a new population will move in and the current one will either die there or move out for food sources and water. I suspect these pest control companies continue to operate because they are experts and pest removal so we can all say all we want ...the experts will always know better.

That is true, I worked with a company like that for a few years because we had (have) a problem at work, and I learned a lot from them. 2
