Regarding rat issue in the neighborhood, yes it is a known fact... that's what I was trying to explain when some members said here that it was because girls doesn't clean and are pigs, blablabla 😡 
Girls know that... they see rats outside and they don't bother them while they stay outside 😛 
And you are right, RLC doesn't do anything or too little.

Put a cat in each room! 😁

That is true and I don't think anyone can definitively say that the problem originated in the villa but it is a fact that before the problem started the girls really were pigs and left a lot of food lying around. They clean up very well these days but those open doors and windows remain a problem, They should also purchase more rat and mouse repellents, one in every room.. those things cost 13 euros.
Those things don't prevent a new rat from entering the house but they do prevent them from coming back or staying there... better than nothing they hate that sound

The girls themselves need to purchase the repellents/traps due to the rat/s knowing their smell so they don't feel threatened. The girls also need to keep on top of cleaning and ensuring there's little to nothing left that will lure the rats out at night. Also ...I think vermin experts know better than any of us what works and what doesn't. What does work though is the removal of food spills/leftovers and liquid ...this way it's unlikely a new population will move in and the current one will either die there or move out for food sources and water. I suspect these pest control companies continue to operate because they are experts and pest removal so we can all say all we want ...the experts will always know better.

That is true, I worked with a company like that for a few years because we had (have) a problem at work, and I learned a lot from them.
