No doubt you have heard renditions of the pieces that have been modernized, but 90% of what I listen to is from the late 1600's to mostly the mid 1900's.

My best friend has 2 older brothers that were in the service in the mid 70s. I got exposed to a lot full album play in my youth when they would be home on leave and I would be around their house. That continues on with how I listen to music when I fire up the Old Kenwood and push the Klipsch well beyond their limitations

Why is this funny to you? That indicates to me that you want to dictate what I listen to. We both know that can't happen, but my ears can't take screeching guitars and people that are screaming into a mic and calling it singing. While just my opinion, I call that noise.
