kenny1940
Just because it says newbie by someone does not mean they are new to RLC and do not have plenty of knowledge. It took me a year and a half to post on CC. Meanwhile I have viewed RLC since July of 2013. I was a newbie 3 months ago. I think there is so much bithching and speculation people are compelled to chime in. It seems now a lot of butt hurt posters are turning on Kamila because she may like dudes instead of being a lesbian. Or Efim visited Zoya and the world exploded. You can have 1000 posts and don't pay for RLC or CC. Or you can have 10 posts and pay for both. Its all the same, you post on a site. I would be embarrassed to be banned from an adult site and a site that comments on it. Yet I see this time and time again. My point there is no rank here. Ozi
You can have 1000 posts and don't pay for RLC or CC. Or you can have 10 posts and pay for both. My point there is no rank here. I really like your point about the number of posts and the relevance, or lack of, to RLC and CC membership. There does appear to be a few that are very vocal, prolific posters, that obviously don't have RLC membership and are making assumptions based on delayed images and 2nd or 3rd party comments. You are also right about there being no rank structure. However, if I can use my personal experiences, the Army does have a rank structure, but we also have what we call SMEs (subject matter experts). So I might be an officer, but will take directions from a sergeant who is a weapons SME, or a corporal who is a comms SME. CC has it's version of SMEs. kenny1940
Nice comparison Ozi, and a great point to make. Yes subject matter does count. I guess I don't like the bullying part or the authoritative tone by some members who have participated more. A senior member may have a better feel about the CC posts because they are very active but not necessarily any more insight on RLC than a newbie. Maturin
A lot of people, particularly the ones that get in arguments the most with each other about the tenants, tend to post their speculative opinions in a factual style. You hit the nail on the head by saying they use an authoritative tone even though verifiable facts are thin on the ground. The are they/aren't they lesbians thread is a particularly entertaining low point example of this. CC does explode when something new happens and I see that as part of the fun of it. In many ways it can be fun to be proved right or wrong on something that you have a theory on. But then I don't mind speculating yet I also don't see the point in arguing about speculative opinions with as much ferocity as some of the guys do. Also though, regarding the arguers, you can see that lines have been drawn now and they tend to aim their snarking between themselves and some of it can be pretty funny. I do agree that a "newbie" to CC could have more experience of RLC than an established member. Also a profile dated newbie may well have just changed their account name and been here for years under another name. There is no rank and that's something that has definitely improved for the better these past few months.
albacore
I think content is a great factor in noob credibility. I have seen post by someone new that is good and on topic and I have seen posts with someone in the many hundreds that is the same drivel as the others. ww_watcher
I don't watch RLC but I do watch here. My rank is newbie but I have been here for several years. The old farts like Woody and Squirrel and JoJo have probably noticed me but I don't speak up much - except in the geriatric section of this forum. It's OK though, I prefer it this way. kenny1940
Another point I wanted to make in response to all your responses is. I have seen some people negate "newbies" comments. such as shut up newbie, why are all these newbies now here etc. I cant even remember how I got to this site I guess its connected to RLC, I enjoyed the commentary. Some are more experienced in posting some aren't, I just want everyone to express themselves in a mature and factual or at least honest way. Just because the masses don't agree doesn't mean you should sit quietly. By the way I still don't know what the Karma deal is all about. I don't even know how I got to RLC, probably surfing porn and came to something more intriguing.,
JoJoGunne
Don't get all bent out of shape about that "newbie" label, y'all. It don't mean a thing. I look at it kind of like my MMORPG's. When I join a guild in a new game, I usually start out at whatever their "newbie" rank happens to be...even though I have over 10 years of MMO gameplaying under my belt. What you say and how you act is more important than your label.

Guest rekt
I've been lurking in RLC background (free cams) since Olga/Sergei, Maria/John. I guess to qualify that statement, I remember Sergei secretly masturbating in front of the computer, almost out of shot of the cam but enough to know what he was up to lol Don't know if that was ever discussed on here. John, I thought, was pretty mean to Maria, treating her like shit, even when they had sex. There was an older woman who visited who I thought may have been her mother. There never seemed to be a lot of social intercourse between the two. I can't remember when or how I found this site, but probably like others, through surfing other sites. It was only through watching Kami and Kristy that interested me enough to join CC and interact with these two lovelies with others. The term 'newbie' doesn't worry me as I think one needs to be here awhile to get used to how the site operates, what other members are thinking and how to respond, what you 'can do' and 'can't do'....etc. At least, if you put a foot wrong you can hide behind the veil of "newbie" lol
