A sign of the times. wish it weren't true, but even if you are a paying member we don't want to jeopardize our membership giving it away. I do however wish that as a paying member they would allow a "rerun" of events

I do however wish that as a paying member they would allow a "rerun" of events I am quite convinced that RLC is doing all of this to avoid that too many "events" go around on internet, specially in porn sites...

At the free cams i am able to see some action now and then, but most of it takes place only for members (what should be if rlc wants to make money). But not being able to collect some of the interesting events and share it with people who also love it... thats what holds me most. I am even unsure of i should upload some of the content i could cap as free member, can they in any way ban me for watching events on there free cams and sharing it with a small group? It is 2014, we do have internet... even going to a swimmingpool or changing in front of your window can give you problems. Being on cam 24/7 makes the risk bigger there will be some stuff leaked to other places.

Let's say you sell one copy, and find the guy who bought it handing out photocopies of it to everyone in the world, and they like it. How would you feel? RLC created a product, and they have a right to control its distribution and profit from it. Yes, it's frustrating when you miss something, but that's life.

You are right for sure but if you have paid to read all the book (24/7 coverage) but got to chapter 4 but missed 3 chapters because you fell asleep and were only allowed to start reading again at chapter 8 you would be well pissed off. If RLC offered a 'catch up' or 'review' service for paying members they would definitely get more subscribers. The watermark would still prevent redistribution but paying members would get a far better service Kind Regards Tonto!!

Not that it couldn't be done, but it poses significant difficulties. Point is, it's a DIFFERENT PRODUCT FEATURE, which of course would be worth more money. You're paying now for a live feed; you want to add a DVR feature, you're going to pay for it.

I have an antenna and a digital converter. But the kids do, and they invite me over to watch stuff, and I must admit the DVR is really, really a handy idea, and worth the subscription price. Perhaps RLC might consider this option. Until then, I'm just posting commentary on CC. It's not profitable, but it keeps me out of bars and taverns...
