If it charged for sex, they would censor the couples when they have sex in the living room for all free users. The reason why they are advertised on sites like thebestporn.com and webcamsexadvice.com is because sex is involved with the couples. I mean, where would you think a site like RLC should be advertised. The reason why content on CC is mostly sex stuff is because that's what we're for the most part interested. That doesn't mean the actual site is purely a porn site. If it were, they're would be porn actress fucking every night instead of couples who fuck when normal couples fuck. We as voyeurs like watching real people have sex, but we also like the other aspects of people watching: analyzing the couples and that sort of thing. Would you consider something like Big Brother purely pornographic? RLC can just as easy bring in a couple that doesn't have sex at all. While sex is an important part of it I don't think its the focus and that's where the difference lies. Its a bit like a relationship. Is sex the most important thing? Nope. Is sex one of the best things? Yep. Would you like one without sex? Hell No! :P Good answer! ;D although I still think they could get a good sponsorship deal with "Hello Kitty" or "Pets At Home" or something similar and make the site free....in the interests of social education of course....... ;) or just keep one room out of bounds as a "safe" room for the couples in case it was really needed (though couples signing up to the project would have to agree only to use it sparingly, otherwise why would they be willing to share their lives) .....I think that people like myself (although it is hard to believe it) who were initially drawn to RLC because of the "Big Brother/Fly on the Wall" nature of it (and actually not the sex) would appreciate more rooms being open to general access, so that we can follow what goes on better - more continuity to the narrative. TV shows like BB can get sponsorship deals so a "unique" site like RLC should be able to get something, surely there is a company out there who would contribute to a valuable social experiment? If they want to be seen as a non-porn site then they need to make more effort to sell themselves and project their image. I think RLC have actually brought in couples who will provide good sexual entertainment and who are sexual exhibitionists - Isabella for example and Leora to a certain extent. They are certainly playing to the cameras - even the beloved Nora... if RLC was populated with a bunch of docile, inarticulate, sexually inactive mingers then their sales would go down pretty rapidly. So in that sense I don't really accept that it is not a site based upon selling sex in some way or another (but it could change itself for the better....) No I wouldn't consider BB pornographic - although it is very exploitative - and it is a game show after all so the situations are manufactured to provide the best entertainment. I mean, they eat, drink, buy clothes, watch TV, listen to music, play video games, etc, etc,..... lots of possibilities for advertising deals (in fact I'm surprised that IKEA hasn't already set one up)...so why do they focus on adverts on sex sites. We would try and figure out why they were unhappy or fighting, We even gave their friends nicknames like gotee ect... The board has changed over time. To the point that I only read the Random Discussions. So many people would post there having sex now someone tape this for me. They need to have sex more and things like this. So I like a few others just check in once in awhile. When people move in or out then RLC changes. There is talk on the board about why thy walk around in there underwear.
