It may be that Malia is out so long to avoid Leora's cold. I think Leora should have stayed home so she does not pass it on to other people.

A very good post philo. I saw something on the news yesterday that said people were getting covid-19 from having sex. The virus is transferred through kissing and touching. I will admit that is something I never thought of and it is something people should be aware of and be careful who they are with.

I had a feeling Malia has met someone as she has been out all night a couple of times. If she is seeing someone it seems odd that she would do that at this late stage because it's been said more than once that she will be going home soon. Why get involved with someone if she won't be here long.

I think you have it all wrong. Malia is Leora's best friend and she has always been there for Leora. I recall many times when Leora has been upset or crying and it was always Malia that was there for her, because that is what true friends do for each other. Malia is someone Leora has known for years and should be more important than someone she met a few months ago.

Harley, I did not see the exact time Malia left the apartment but she was home alone  two hours ago. if they were together it would not have been for long,and Malia still has not returned.

Leora arrived home a while ago after being out 48 hours and Malia left the apartment before Leora got home, they were not together.

I agree they both should live there lives as they see fit. I was just curious if she still has a father, and I hope she does and they have a good relationship.

It has been posted in the forum many times. That Leora's mother passed away when Leora was a child. 

I did know Leora's mother had passed away, but I have not heard anything about her father. I know Paul has family in Russia and I am sure that is important to him, but if his business was more important to him than her, I think he has his priorities all wrong. He was a very lucky man to have a woman like Leora as a girlfriend.

Considering two factors. One being Paul chose to stay to expand his repair business. The other being Eva, their dog. Not knowing the international limitations regarding pets. I suspect it would have been very difficult for her to go to Prague.

The other factor may have involved Leora's income, from the RLC project. Could also support Paul getting his business on stable ground, and cover any expenses involving Eva,

Keeping in mind that Paul did join Leora, in Prague, for a few days around the New Year's holiday. From what I observed, his visit was very well accepted. Then Malia joined the project, and shortly there after, COVID-19 disrupted the world !! 

scutus, you have made valid points, but would think if Paul joined leora in prague he would also be paid by rlc just like leora is. I will admit that Eva may cause some problems as I don't know international laws about pets.

Yes it is likely they just drifted apart, and I know Paul will never have anyone as good as what he had in Leora. I think if Paul came to Prague Malia would not stay long afterwards, she would feel that she is in the way. I am glad Paul is not coming because I would much rather have Malia there than him.

Slipper, I agree with everything in your post. I just don't understand why Paul would not move to Prague, could it be he just likes Russia or maybe he could not stay in Prague long term for some reason. I think something happened between Leora and Paul that he was willing to let her go so easily. I doubt we will ever know the real reason why they split up.
