I think there's a good chance that Zena will come back. After living with freedom and democracy in Prague she will tire of the Russian Police state dictatorship.

Please don't take it personally, it's just an outsiders opinion and I could be wrong.

Leora's time in Prague - 2 and a 1/2 years, trips back to Russia to see Paul - 0. This seems to be more of a platonic than romantic love now.

But she can't leave him, they are business partners.

Zena and Leora

Never say never.

Did Leora put the robe she bought for Zena in with the clothes she is donating to help the Ukrainian's or did she keep it? Thinking about the matching robes it seems strange to me that Leora would buy matching robes if she knew that Zena was never coming back. So maybe her trip back to Russia is temporary and not permanent.
