Good article--but there are legality problems with the CDC moratorium--even Biden says so. But by the time the matter is decided by Congress or the Supreme Court, federal rental assistance should be distributed Federal Judge Leaves CDC Evictions Moratorium In Place | HuffPost WWW.HUFFPOST.COM A federal judge is refusing landlords’ request to put the Biden administration’s new eviction moratorium on hold, though she made clear she thinks it’s i... In discussing the new moratorium imposed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention because of COVID-19, President Joe Biden acknowledged last week there were questions about its legality. But he said a court fight over the new order would buy time for the distribution of some of the more than $45 billion in rental assistance that has been approved but not yet used. The Treasury Department has said that only about $3 billion of the first slice of $25 billion had been distributed through June. -

Not when you are essentially belittling a person for serving or attempting to serve this great nation, especially since you yourself have not made the sacrifice. So is that why you agree and say it is pointless because you did not serve either!!!! -

Then, Golfer---what did you mean in your original comment meaning qtrumplican will burn down the entire state., but in your last response to RR saying "The state is burning with a Democrat governor and a Democrat controlled legislature that has run the state since 2011." If Democrats are not responsible for wildfires, how can the Republicans be if they get elected?????? No logical sense. -

I agree with the first sentence. Here is a short course on school vouchers--homeschooled children might need online courses, tutoring, School Vouchers: What You Need to Know WWW.UNDERSTOOD.ORG School vouchers can impact a child's special education services and legal rights under IDEA. Get a school voucher definition, and read how they affect students. In some cases, they may also be used for homeschooling. -

Not true--vouchers do not have to be used only for attending "religious" schools. But if they are, if the only classes taught were religious in nature, then I could see the separation of church & state argument. However, the curriculum in a "religious school is basically the same, except for the addition of religious classes. However, I was subjected in my History class as a student to a study of world religions. Vouchers can also be used for home schooling. -

It worked out great for me--not only was I able to proudly serve our Country, but was able to afford some benefits, like the GI Bill (education), Cal Vet mortgage on my house, discounts at businesses that acknowledge veterans and their sacrifice, and free burial in the future for both myself and my wife So in not answering my original question--did you serve??? By skirting the issue and not answering the question--seems probable that you did not. -

So primarily we have 2 Republicans that fit this expose DeSantis and Abbott, but the article refers to Republicans (inferring all Republicans). And Cruz is obviously not being consistent. However, a Covid death is not a natural death and can be mitigated by getting vaccinated. “I am unequivocally pro-life, I believe that every life is a precious gift from God that needs to be protected from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death.” -

With the way the liberals have taken over public education, Republicans have long proposed a voucher system to allow parents where to have their children educated, to include private school. Of course that is strongly opposed by Democrats because they would lose their ability to indoctrinate those public school children. But maybe one of the biggest reason is that the Teacher's Union would lose some of it's hold and political influence. -

You keep referring to qtrumplicans, however much of what you post started way before Trump or Q ever entered the picture--so your posts are mostly meant to inflame rather than be factual. There are primarily 2 political parties- Republicans and Democrats, not qtrumplicans and demoncrats Sorry---but the liberals control the schools, the curriculum, and therefore the education of the children toward those ideologies and Democratic voting machines for the future. It is obvious that Abbott, who is acting like a dictator (like some Democrat governors have done), does not have the welfare of Texans foremost.
