Democrat Congressman Calls Biden Claim on Afghans Not Wanting to Leave “Utter BS” From Massachusetts congressman Seth Moulton: “I mean, don’t tell me that Afghans don’t want to leave when there’s been a backlog of Special Immigrant Visa applications for over a decade. Don’t tell me they don’t want to leave when they’re literally clinging to airplanes to try to get out of this country. That was the single part of the president’s speech that I not only disagreed with but I thought was just utter BS.” The Hill -

Biden to Americans Stuck in Afghanistan: You Are On Your Own From the State Department note to those trying to evacuate: “Thank you for registering your request to be evacuated from Afghanistan….Please make your way to Hamid Karzai International Airport at this time,” the note reads. “ PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE UNITED STATES CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SECURITY AS YOU MAKE THIS TRIP” (Yahoo). From Andrew McCarthy: Given this shocking notification, it is worth remembering what President Biden represented to the nation just a day ago. Twice, he assured us that his administration had planned for “every contingency,” expressly “including the rapid collapse we’re seeing now” — i.e., the collapse of the U.S.-backed regime in Kabul and takeover of the country by the Taliban. One glaringly obvious and imperative contingency, of course, was the safe evacuation of American civilians (National Review). From Seth Mandel: Hopefully someone can get word to the stranded Americans in Kabul trying to make their way to the airport through Taliban checkpoints that we’re making progress on the infrastructure bill (Twitter). The Biden administration later said they are relying on the Taliban to be kind and let people enter the airport (Fox News). This, after a number of stories and videos of the Taliban beating people outside the airport (RedState). From journalist Frud Bezhan: Taliban have put up checkpoints at entrance to #Kabul airport, residents tell me. That’s preventing thousands of Afghans who have travel docs from leaving. As @WSJ reports, some evacuation flights leaving nearly empty. Window of opportunity closing for Afghans to escape (Twitter). From Noah Rothman: I never thought I’d read these words. The world’s only nation capable of sustained global power projection won’t help its citizens stranded in a country in which it’s operated for 20 years for fear of running afoul of a militia. We’re choosing decline (Twitter). From Guy Benson: … it’s also darkly laughable for Biden to claim his administration planned for every contingency. Apparently the reality contingency didn’t make the cut, despite senior military officials warning against this course of action, and advocates for America’s loyal Afghan allies outright begging for an orderly plan to deliver them to safety before the Taliban seized control and came knocking (Townhall). Video from outside the Kabul airport, where thousands still hope for rescue as gunfire is all around them (Twitter). From another story: McConnell told “Special Report” that he never would have left Afghanistan, especially not the way the Biden administration has. The Kentucky lawmaker said only 1% of the Pentagon’s budget was being directed toward Afghan operations, which were successfully “keep[ing] the lid on in Afghanistan” (Fox News). Democrats stunned by prospect of losing 2 biggest governors within weeks - POLITICO WWW.POLITICO.COM By next month, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo could be political exiles. California Democrats are urging their voters to stop Republicans in their tracks now. “If they get this state,” Newsom told supporters on a recent get-out-the-vote call, “they can weaponize it from a national meta-narrative, the impacts are profound for Chuck Schumer, for Nancy Pelosi, for President Biden.” And I for one certainly hope that will be the case as a constituent in the State, California voters will vote yes on the ballot and elect front runner Larry Elder. Time for a change for the better in California. -

See my post above---But if Obama had kept his promise--he and Biden knew of the waste and corruption of the Afghans in power-and withdrew our troops, lives and money would have been saved.. Further, neither Trump nor Biden then would have been blamed for anything. -

But in another story by Rawstory below: This is a guy [Biden] who hated [former Afghan president Hamid] Karzai back in 2009, famously got up, threw his napkin down and said, 'This dinner is over,' and left when Karzai was president because of the rampant corruption, because of the fact we were spending billions and billions of dollars, tax dollars to try to build up that country, build up that military, and it was all being squandered and people were getting extraordinarily rich." And so Biden was Vice President and Barrack Obama, President in 2009, when Biden knew but did nothing to convince Obama to withdraw.8 years the Obama administration allowed this to continue--then Trump negotiated with the Taliban and a withdrawal was set, But finally Biden pulled the trigger and got the hell out of Afghanistan--however disorganized. The really appalling thing is that as the Afghans were surrendering, the US left all that military equipment at their disposal -

General Milley maybe was nominated by Trump to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but he like many of the judges nominated by Trump were and are not Trump puppets. So Trump made some good nominations. -

So what is the point of this article--other than try to mislead with the headline. The Taliban will be denied access to any Afghan reserves held in US accounts, a US administration official told AFP on Monday. Any Central Bank assets the Afghan government have in the United States will not be made available to the Taliban." But most of those funds are held outside of Afghanistan, according to a person familiar with the matter. It was not immediately clear what share of the assets are held in the United States. -

At least Trump did nominate Judges as he claimed that would follow the rule of law "That the opinion, concerning whether some of Trump's biggest public supporters can be sued for defamation, was written by a Trump appointee is hugely important. It shows us that many of the federal judges elevated in the last four years are not in fact just political actors in robes. Instead, they are jurists whose job it is to apply the facts of each case to the law and make a determination, regardless of whether or not it is bad for the person who appointed them to their venerated position," she wrote before predicting, -

You know that how "actual history and facts" are skewed in a learning environment- Liberally skewed teaching produce liberal leaning students.---That is definitely the outcome from our Colleges and Universities because of the preponderance of liberal professors over conservative ones. Likewise, Conservative skewed teaching would produce conservative leaning students. However, not many conservative teachers or professors are found in out public education system in the USA. I do not rule out the fact that school does not always prevail, as children are politically influenced by their parents and peer groups -

Naturally you post shit like this without reading the article from whence it came Alabama’s Abortion Law: How to Stay Friends and Get Somewhere in Your Conversations WWW.VOICESFORTHEVOICELESS.ORG 6 questions to guide your conversations. Accusations of bad faith or hypocrisy kill emotionally and intellectually honest conversations in an instant. It’s impossible to count the number of chest-thumping, holier-than-thou “hot” takes from the past week. We’re all guilty of them, because we all want to believe that we’re well-intentioned enough to be right. Comments like these are killing productive dialogue with blind smugness across the nation. Yet these feelings are really real. “Make no mistake—a state that criminalizes abortion but ranks 50th in public education doesn’t give a shit about children.” -

The more some people get "free" perks from the government, the more they want. And the Democrats know that this type of addiction is hard to break, and they think it insures them more votes from those who want more "free" stuff. But someone else is going to pay for the "free" stuff. -

Where did you get this data??? I think you confuse this survival rate for those who are vaccinated and contract covid, not the unvaccinated. And no, the FDA is slow at giving approvals for vaccines and medications among others, but that does not mean that they don't work. The vaccines are soon to be approved by the FDA--the same ones that have been administered to millions--It makes no logical difference if they were approved at the onset or now---they are the same ones being used from the beginning.
