  10. It is relevant--this is a continuation of the argument you made regarding " Americans should finally acknowledge the crimes of their ancestors and be humble." International or citizenship laws do not link ancestry--genetics does....... You, by bringing up law tried to change the subject and divert from your original statement in bold, which we have proven to be more than just Americans. but genealogical ancestors as well. Your argument that there are outcast stateless persons for whom no state is responsible anymore does not over ride genetics. For example, a man who fathered a child in Germany, but moves to America is still genetically linked to that child, and he is an ancestor of that child. If he commits a crime in America, she is still linked to that crime because she is his ancestor genetically. A good debater sticks to the original premise or theory and either is the protagonist and proves it or is rebutted by a better opponent who disproves his theory. In this case, you lost the debate. You just learned the part in red from my post above "The Germans come to North America" (or maybe you did not read it)
  11. That is totally wrong--you have a lot to learn about American history--or your denial and mischaracterization or the downright attempt to rewrite history to your ideology is obscene. The highlighted red is soundly proved untrue by this accurate accounting of German influence in America The Germans Come to North America ANABAPTISTS.ORG Anabaptists | Germans Come to North America -- Migrants from Germany: Amish, Mennonites, Pietists, Swiss Brethren

  13. Absolutely you are wrong---you cannot expatriate genetics and say these people are no longer German. They are ancestors. International citizenship does not negate genetics--genetics determines ancestors---sorry
  14. Yes, why are you posting an article from April 8, 2022 to reflect current market prices??? You cannot fool alert people, only a fool would try.
  15. If as you say Americans should acknowledge the crimes of their ancestors, then since Americans all came from other than the American continents, then those people are also ancestors of the crimes committed on American soil, and they too should acknowledge. You cannot just blame Americans--but everyone who has ties to people residing in America are also not blameless. Saying you have nothing to do with it is false, because many Americans are of German descent and their ancestors also committed atrocities in America--so you are implicated by the fact of genetics. Any person whose ancestors came to America are also responsible.
  16. I just read the article and the chapter reviews. There is several references to Europeans, Columbus, the conquistadors, and other explorers committing these atrocities of which there were many. The book title is misleading as it most likely refers to the American holocaust--meaning the American continents. Most of this book is dedicated to the period before the US as we know it was founded in 1776 and then in 1787 with the ratification of the Constitution of the United States. There is one chapter at the end that points to Indian massacres, but it begins " Stannard argues that by targeting women and children, the Europeans were conducting genocidal warfare." But yes, it is undeniable the brutality and the extermination of the indigenous Indian population is the USA's sad and shameful moment in history, just as the extermination of Jews and other German undesirables during WWII is their own brutality. There is no time in history that the extermination, annihilation, and brutality of human beings (or animals) by any race or country should be ignored, but it should never be allowed to happen or ever be repeated again. However, in this forum, there is no need to regurgitate the past as a verbal weapon against each other.
