Me too, I always tend to check new girls, and guest girls even more. I get it, the east of Ukraine is mostly Russian speaking, although they don't necessarily identify with Russia. But if 2 or 3 girls from the west of Ukraine are in a GOV apt together, I assume they would be speaking Ukrainian to one another, not Russian. Though they also would be able to speak Russian if necessary. I'd be surprised if RLC didn't have any girls from the west of Ukraine, but it's possible. Of course, if they all switched to English, I wouldn't mind! 😉

Pondering further, I wonder how the Russians and Ukrainians in the mixed GOV apts get along since the war. It seems to be okay, maybe because if you choose this job as a Russian you're considered a deviant euro loving gay satanic pornophile anyway by the Putin regime, so the Russians who participate might be not all that loyal to their ever more hardline conservative traditionalist dictator. Still, I don't understand either language, so I have no idea whether there are some political tensions under the surface, or if it is all "make love, not war" like on the placard they made in (I think) B4 last year?... I hope for the latter, but really don't know...

I know lots (most?) of Ukrainians also speak Russian (vice versa not so much). So the apts where there are both Russians & Ukrainians would in practice be mostly Russian speaking. But are there any apts where there are (almost) only Ukrainians? I guess they would speak Ukrainian there, but I don't see any apt where it says "Ukrainian speaking"? Is that because it is too hard to discern both languages? Or because - especially in the Girls on Vacation apts - there is too much turnover to keep track? I don't hear the difference myself (although i'm told it's considerable) so I don't blame you, just wondering if it would be a good idea to add "Ukrainian speaking" to some apts? Or "Russian/Ukrainian speaking" in case of mixed or regularly changing participants from both countries?

Probably the wrong place to ask, but as there is no general Prague apts thread i'll ask here: Are the couples (except for Leora & Paul, who are Russian I believe) in the Prague apartments Russian and/or Ukrainian like most RLC participants, or (some of them) Czech? Anyone who can discern their language? It sounds Slavic, but no idea otherwise... Edit: If a mod thinks here is the wrong spot: feel free to move it (but pls tell me where! 🙂 )

I looked it up and Ukraine does indeed still have similar laws as Russia concerning x-rated webcamming and such, making (working for) sites like RLC illegal. Probably older Russian-style laws dating from before 2014, after which relations with Russia worsened and Ukraine moved closer to Europe. But still in place. How strongly those laws are still enforced (especially since the war) is another matter, but of course it is still risky because of the judicial uncertainty. There is now a petition going on there to legalize this sort of business, citing freedom of expression, democratic rights, becoming more like the EU, etc., contrasting it to the ever more oppressive Putinist/Russian system they are now at war with. But so far no official change yet, though this might(?) change in the future.

OK, so RLC is not accessible from Russia (anymore). I wonder if VHTV still has apartments in Russia though. Anyone know if RLC is accessible from Ukraine? And if not: because of laws? Or because RLC itself prefers to geoblock (maybe demanded by the girls themselves)?

I can imagine not having access to the RLC website from Russia because of strict internet laws now (at least the last few years, although there still are VHTV apts in Russia, unless i'm mistaken?), but can't imagine the same kind of internet laws in Ukraine... Unless of course it's a conscious decision by RLC itself to make the site unaccessible from Ukraine (and Russia?) because the girls don't want family/acquaintances/neigbours... to stumble upon them online? A bit like camgirls can block some countries or regions (mostly their own) from viewing them?... The few non-UKR/RU girls (Martina, Taylor,...) on RLC maybe don't care about this? Still, RLC most be doing something wrong then. I understand it's been getting more difficult to get Russian girls for a while now, first because of stricter internet control with the Putin regime becoming ever more conservative and controlling, and later even more so since the war started and getting visas became harder. But they seem to have the same problem attracting Ukrainian girls, despite lots of them having fled to Europe since the start of the war, a large amount of them in search for some extra money because living in Europe is indeed very expensive for them. There is no shortage of Russian, Ukrainian (but also Romanian, Spanish, Baltic,...) girls webcamming though. Would webcamming (except for the most successful ones) through a camsite be so much more lucrative than living in a luxurious house where your rent is paid plus some extra wage plus maybe top cam bonuses? And having more relative freedom / peace of mind than having to sit in front of your webcam responding to requests? I somehow doubt that... Unless RLC is rather stingy with their wages & bonuses (of which I have no idea)... Or very bad at recruiting... Or both...

Can you continue to watch all cams when you cancel until your paid sub runs out? Or are you restricted to free cams from the moment you cancel?

As I have a subscription for about 1,5 years now, I can't discern which cams are free anymore, i.e. which cams I would see anyway even if I didn't have a subscription. My subscription renews every 6 months, and i've been thinking about cancelling (due too often poor content) and watching free cams instead. But I have 2 problems: 1) As a subscriber, I have no idea which cams are free (and when), and which are subscription only, and knowing this would certainly weigh in on my decision. Is there a way to know? 2) My subscription automatically renews every 6 months, but I always forget to cancel in time before my credit card is charged. My sub just refreshed a few days ago. If I cancel now, would I still be able to watch all cams for another 6 months? Or would I have paid for nothing and be restricted to just free cams even though my CC was just charged? If the latter, I'd better wait to cancel until August, but then I might forget and be too late again, starting a new cycle... Does anyone know?

That's what I'm thinking, too. But sex workers or not, they still can't seem to find enough good girls for a while now. They should look further than just Russia & Ukraine, and to a small extent, they have already done so (Taylor, Martina, maybe some Cz people?...). So it's not impossible. Thanks.
