I loved the story. I could almost see her myself. It has been my experience that chess is like many avocations, you have to play a lot to be in form or have any hope of getting better. I actually remember watching the Fisher/Spassky matches of 1972 on PBS with them moving cardboard pieces around. There was a time when I was reading books and plating regularly but I have not played in years.

I am done for the evening and will not continue this discussion as it is not fair to the other members who expect this thread to be about the subject..

Let's just agree that there are different types of respect. Respect for people who value truth would be one of those. Respect for people who are level headed, that would be another. I have to be honest here, I remember writing a post about how I spend time with my wife every evening which you took offense to. I don't remember using any other personal information use against you "time and time again." I will do my very best not to insult you but I will say what I see as truth here and won't be censored by your insecurities, sorry. I haven't really had any problems with anyone here and don't intend to.

It was just last night I believe that someone pointed out to you that you were filling entire pages with one line posts. I believe you asked a few questions and as is often the case made some claims that you would take the advice given. It was to that end that the original post I made was primarily focused. After reading it back, taking into consideration how you have reacted in the past to posts you deem critical I decided it was a bad idea. Unfortunately, I couldn't immediately think of something else to say to complete the edit before you read it and the vulgar tirade ensued. One last thing before I conclude this post. You used the phrase: 'businesses not listening to their insane nut customers!" in reference to what you THINK my post stated so let me put it in alternate terms so you understand. You don't let the patients run the hospital. Now, this is a figure of speech and does not actually imply that you or anyone else is sick, just like the well known saying you don't let the inmates run the asylum" does not imply that anyone is insane ... it is a figure of speech. You can be assured that I will back down when a thread gets too heavy as I do not do flame wars and if I did I would respect the fact that there is a place for that on the board. I don't do vulgarity and I don't fly off the handle. If you are going to seriously disagree on the net you need to be emotionally stable. As for respect, there are a number of people on here that I respect. Respect is earned.

I will try and be extra, extra sensitive when making posts that have anything to do with you but it would not be in your best interest to lecture me.

I actually thought better of the comment and rescinded it, as it turns out ...for good reason.

Wow, so much has changed. In reality I have not been on that much so I don't even know who is in what place.

I am so glad you made this post because it is a perfect example of what you do that can be maddening. Early in your post you ask: "I hope you were only using an expression, because otherwise it was extremely rude." Just a few lines down: "The union leader, the community organizer, the socially conscious leaders of our societies, are they insane also? You can snipe if you want, it's what you are good at. Instead, I try to help people." Your speculation that I might have meant the phrase to be insulting has miraculously transformed into I DID mean it that way and it is now not speculation,but a fact. For you information, what I was driving at was simply that there is a difference between listening to your customers and letting them run your business. You have to be one of the more insecure individuals I have encountered in quite a while.

I tried to look at this from the perspective of someone who has actually run a business and the following thought came to me. While you do pay attention to your customers, you don't let the inmates run the asylum.

Here's the thing though. It's possible that in tweeting them so often, and it sounds like you do quite a lot, you may have diminished the level of attention your suggestions get.

I had a friend and he hated his job. He used to complain about it all the time. One day I had to finally tell him that it is one thing to hate your job, but quite another thing to hate that same job for 25 years. (true story)

While it has been stated that I am somewhat naive about the in's and out's of the adult entertainment industry on the net, as someone who spent a good portion of my early years playing with bar bands I would be willing to bet that I know more than some about exotic dancers and hookers. In a very short time, women in these occupations which often intersect, learn that men will take advantage of them in any way they can. This hardens them and any woman I have ever met in this category has one goal only ------ to empty men's pockets while doing as little for it as possible. There are of course exceptions, but they are rare. I have a feeling this girl, no matter how she landed in this situation has already become one of those hardened females and probably does despise all of us.

I am not even close to understanding what that means.

It's probably the biggest missing element for those who try and develop personality profiles for these women. We have no idea what situation they came from, what situation they would be returning to or what struggles their life growing up has been. It's one of the reasons I am often hesitant to participate in that activity.
