Lady Gaga did an outstanding job with the National Anthem last night at the Superbowl. While I am here I want to protest the Superbowl for it's prejudice against the letter "L". Since it's inception, each Superbowl has been defined with Roman numerals, but now that they have reached 50 they change the rules. I am dropping a flag on that play.

The most frustrating part about pointing this out is that people will say they know you are right and they will change and then two days later they are back doing exactly the same thing.

It's good that Christy looks healthy again and does not seem to have any more stomach cramps. Hopefully they will find a more active role for her as from what I am reading, things are much in flux at the moment.

It was cute watching them dance to Beyonce.

....and yet they seem perfectly happy and fine. Perhaps trying to define other people's relationships based on a fixed set of personal values is a fool's errand as it were.

I just finished catching up on all the posts. Here is the impression I am left with. If some people are so clearly unhappy with the site and criticize virtually every aspect of it or every change, why do they keep coming back?

I think it is funny, but I have to admit being irritated by something in a foreign land, concerning people I don't know seems a little extreme.

When I read things like this, my first thought is always that I am grateful that my life is not subject to such scrutiny.

Excellent thread. Most of what I think and would have expressed is covered in one manner or another. It's good to see that I am not the only one who feels that these sites are a far cry from true voyeurism.

You lost a long time ago. As for the country falling apart, perhaps I should list the 100 scary things that were going to happen if Barack Obama was elected/reelected that have never happened. We will survive just fine and if we get some reasonable players on the Supreme Court perhaps we can get on with the business of the 21st century and resist the pull to go back to the 1950's.

With regard to being in contact with the young women who appear on VV and RLC I will not judge others but simply speak for myself. It would feel creepy for a man my age to be having conversations with a 19 year old girl. Doing the searching and seeking out of these individuals on social media feels like page one of the stalkers handbook to me. I also agree that contact could affect an individual's presence on these sites. People often complain that the participants are playing to the camera instead of just acting natural. How could direct contact and feedback NOT affect that?

I retract my statement, let's move on to more pleasant topics.

They do what they do. This ongoing discussion about what they MUST do is another topic. The women in the project that seem to do what they want willingly, (and they exist), are great. Unfortunately, these women are often just promoted into the "is it scripted?" zone. These are topics that have been debated for a long time and I suspect the it will continue. I personally would prefer to see some positive feedback. My rationale is that if indeed any of the participants read here they would receive little motivation some days to do anything "extra" for the viewership.

I doubt many of the men care. Perhaps they are acting for the camera? What is the point?

My assumption was that you pay to watch them live their lives normally under the scrutiny of the cameras everywhere. If they are providing nudity and sex on demand then it is just a sex show and not voyeurism.
