Actually you have hit on a bugbear of mine. I regard "IMO" or "IMHO" (as though that is different) as redundant. It should be absolutely clear that you are stating your opinion if the subject is anything other than you can prove as a fact, which is clearly the case when providing superficial psychological analysis. IMO "IMO" is a waste of time. Just to indulge for a second, it seemed to me (there you go) then when Irma left she did not really make an attempt to interact with Anna with whom Irma seemed quite close but she gravitated towards Layla who had seemed somewhat self-obsessed when she arrived but that Irma had made real effort to bring into the group. So at one point Ilona thought of Layla as a rival and then the instant the group 'mother' (I think that is a good term for Irma because she really seem to care about being inclusive) left Ilona felt the need for a supporter. With the arrival of Danaya it did not take her long to bond but this time Ilona started to dominate making sure that while she was awake she would spend as much time in her company as possible. Whilst Ilona has not stopped cooking she has gone through long periods of staying upstairs in Danaya's room while being brought food and drink and seems to provide very little of the cleaning effort in the flat. I am not saying it is a mistress/servant relationship but there seems little question who is control. Now Adele has arrived and does not seem to be the type to be pushed around, Ilona spends little time in her company, although they do seem to be getting on better today, because she does not need her yet and maybe her tastes are different. It is interesting that she has thrust porn in front of Layla's and Danaya's faces, when this is clearly only a prelude to nothing more than horseplay unless it is "Look how switched on I am, shouldn't you be as well?" and I do not buy the "Oh I innocently discovered this" as though she was doing something naughty. Sorry to anyone who read this before, I do not know why I called Adele, Irene :-[

The problem with your statement is that we are not in an academic arena where I have to give citations. It isa message board for voyeurs. I think your expectations for the depth of an argument are unreasonably high. I am not going spend time writing an essay. I have enough validations from the numerous top class academic institutions to be confident in my own ability so I do not need to be lectured about to present in argument in a way appropriate to the context. It is simplistic to merely define Ilona as a "Mean Girl" but from what I observed it is an obvious fit. If you do not like the term, she is someone who likes to be a key member if not the leader of a popular clique. She seems to define herself by popularity and if anyone else is trying to interest others than she will quickly try to snuff that out by interjecting as soon as the other person takes a breath. You may disagree. I am perfectly capable of arguing at any level you want but I was not looking for a debate just offering my opinion.
