    That is highly unlikely as the problems are always global and I doubt all places at once have problems with bandwidth. The chunks are lost from the distro servers to the users. As I doubt there is any long time storage of stream on distro servers these chunks are lost forever.

    These are cloud hosters. They only provide the infrastructure. Due to the nature of a cloud you can't see what is run inside it. So that won't be a problem.

    I guess the promises of the new hoster were not true. They should try AWS or Google. They are reliable.

    I have no clue at all. I know a lot about streaming and networks as that is my work I do too (More network ans servers than streaming but also started to program streaming lately too) and the problems they have are clearly linked to their central infrastructure. The hoster they are using is clearly not good. The network code and the programming of the streaming is really good.

    Well there are chunks (segments) of the video missing. They are lost forever as they got never streamed due to the lags. So the player gets irritated and does stop playing or not even start.
