  1. I'd be interested too. Just from a male POV, assuming it was a FWB and Alberto had developed true feelings for Martina, I think he may have felt he could compete on the same level with any other guy (male ego?) and Martina would always come back to him. But when the woman you care about prefers other women? Where does he start? I feel he had no choice but to "accept" it or lose Martina. I'm not sure the reason "cited" (assumed?) was the reason for Bogdan's choice. He may have been the only adult in the room, saw the potential trainwreck coming and pulled Nelly off the train, so to speak. But for M&A, it all, sadly, went down the tubes anyway. It was inevitable.
  2. Although I have never been in a FWB type of relationship, I think it may have two levels to it. One where you live with the "friend" and the other where you visit the "friend". It may be that living with a FWB someone adds another dimension to the relationship involving actual feelings for that person after a time. (This may be what happened to M&A.) So the need to "tell all" enters the picture if one of the people feel guilty about an episode with someone else. If you just visit the FWB, then perhaps that need is not there. A brief encounter with a FWB is vastly different than living with a FWB someone, I would think. If FWB was the case with M&A, Alberto probably expected only other men to be with Martina and never saw it coming when Martina let her lesbian feelings known to him. I believe by that time, he had deep feelings for her and the revelation blew a hole in his heart and brain a mile deep. And here we are. You are right though. It seems these types of relationships, by their very nature, are doomed. Maybe that's why God created love.
  3. It looks like you answered you're own question here, Jen. "Megan has a boyfriend". So, of course, some emotions and guilt are involved in fucking other people if you are "attached" in some way to another person. I wonder if this is why Martina felt it necessary to tell Alberto of her desires/actions just to relieve herself of some guilt no matter what kind of relationship each of us think they had with each other beforehand. Plus, as I've said, I think much of the lesbianism is experimentation. Most of the girls on RLC are young and perhaps tentative in trying out these new sexual adventures. Alcohol at the parties obviously helps their inhibitions along! Some, like Martina (apparently, so far), get a whole new world open to them and others, like Megan (apparently, so far), decide it's not for them. Nelly.....well.......flip a coin! 😄😄😄
  4. Looks to be shaping up as a HAPPY Halloween after all for Martina! WOW!!
  5. Martina eating her dinner sitting on the kitchen counter like a stranger in her own apartment. What a sad sight.
  6. I can see from the comments that there is some confusion about the first Martina/Nelly/Megan sexual encounters on camera. But I'm left with the question about what happened off camera, if anything, as a prelude to their on camera activities. Granted, alcohol was involved in most of the on camera episodes but I find it a little strange that apparently heterosexual women would suddenly begin same sex activities, on camera, without some level of history with each other beforehand. I suppose we'll never know but it was just something that seemed curious to me.
  7. I know you must be tired of telling me that, Jen, and I partially agree with you up to a point. After the Nelly episode, I think all other options on what to call M&A's long standing relationship were off the table. From that time on it could only be a FWB relationship no matter how each of them felt about the other emotionally. But I'm still not convinced that Alberto knew about the Nelly affair beforehand. When you say Martina never hid any of her exploits from Alberto, I think we're talking after the fact. Before Martina decided to expand her sexual horizons (or was she drunkenly introduced into it by Nelly at some point off-camera??......just a conjecture), all logic points to a loving relationship between M&A over the many years they were together. I didn't follow them from their start on RLC but there has never been a mention of either of them having other affairs during that time. That's one of the things that drew my attention to them when I first discovered RLC......how normal they were! (I'd love to know their beginnings.......childhood friends?, workmates?, met at a party?) Many couples develop a loving, emotional bond with each other with that kind of history which oftentimes remains after they split and I believe that's what will happen with M&A down the road. As I've said before, I think Alberto's obvious mistake was not stopping the Martina-Nelly episodes once he knew. Maybe he thought, in his state of mind at the time, "What's the use? I can't compete with that." and subconsciously retreated into a hurt and angry cuckold mode. That was it for him until his giggly, Goth friend turned up and here we are. I only feel sorry for him in the male sense, projecting how I would feel if that happened to me with a woman that I was in love with. Also, just want to say that I enjoy your posts and your insight into this couple that most of us are going to miss, esp. Martina in my case.
  8. A sweet moment between them. I believe Alberto even called her by her real name.
  9. He probably thought, "OK. Let them have their fun." figuring it was a one-off deal and "What could possibly go wrong?". 😂😂😂
  10. Good points. Not sure if he "agreed" to Nelly until after the fact. But then, as they say, the toothpaste was already out of the tube.
  11. I agree that the Nelly episode was the beginning of the end with Alberto. As I've said, it psychologically placed his manhood in doubt with his longtime love admitting to more sexual satisfaction with females. It must have deeply affected and hurt him, so much so that the anger still persists, added to the other problems in his life. We may see it as a "mistake" but looking at it from Martina's side, I think she was, and still is, exploring her young, sexual curiosity. Also as I've said, I think her lesbian adventures are just that.....adventurous, youthful experimentation. I may be completely wrong here but I think if the right man caught her fancy one day, she'd screw his brains out. It just probably won't be Alberto again due to his mental scarring with her. I believe too, as I and others have said, that M&A will return to being close friends when they each find their own niche in the months to come. They were probably each other's "first love" and that emotional bond is hard to break.
  12. Could be some sort of contract issue with RLC? Or maybe waiting on a friend with a free day for transport to help her (Big Guy?). Heart wrenching to see her seemingly so unhappy in the apt. now. She and Alberto have been home together for hours and barely any communication between them.
  13. Yes, Boing. I see we have different observations about who takes care of Taco. Every morning, Alberto leaves for work and doesn't bother with the dog. Martina walks and feeds Taco every day before she leaves for class. In the afternoon, Alberto comes home and may play with Taco but the dog doesn't get walked or fed again until Martina gets home. This seems to be the daily routine. Maybe you watch at different times and see different things than I do. But from what I have seen, I find it hard to conclude that Alberto "takes better care of Taco".
  14. Just watching some replay of earlier. To me, Alberto looks a bit stunned when he was helping Martina with the moving boxes. Maybe its starting to sink in that Martina is really leaving after all their years together and his life is changing, whether it be for better or worse with his giggly, Goth friend.
  15. Haha!! Good song choice! You Go Martina!! (She played "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" loud enough to blow the windows out.....LOL)
  16. If that turns out to be the case, I wonder how much the viewership for this apt. will drop. There is only so much sex you can watch without anything else happening. But I guess there are some who find giggling, people playing video games and balcony perching interesting.
  17. So sad to watch this, like a trainwreck. See it coming for months and nothing to be done to stop it. The disaster must play out.
  18. Pretty sure we're watching the same apartment, Laddie, but wouldn't you agree it's possible we watch at different times, see different things and base our conclusions on that? Perhaps our opinions of the occupants also play a part in those conclusions.
  19. Yes, they will. After the split comes, I think a few tears will be shed, in their alone moments, remembering the nice times in their happier years together. I believe they'll stay friends, visit each other and maybe look to each other in a time of need. It's hard to break that emotional bond you've had with someone for many years. Taco is Martina's dog and will probably go with her, barring any apt. restrictions. Contrary to what some believe, she does take good care of the creature. I can only recall a handful of times I've seen Alberto feed or walk Taco and I'm not sure he'd want the dog.
  20. It appears so. My Spanish is below rudimentary level but I think Martina admitted as much to the Big Guy last evening. Maybe that's what Alberto is over the edge about. Yet another disappointment about to happen in his life.
  21. Yes. Worst argument I've seen them have to date, apparently about money. Martina seems to want to talk now but Alberto shuts her out and seems to have a deep anger inside him. He cooked a nice dinner for the two of them the other night and then barely spoke a word to Martina while they were sitting at their little table eating. So sad to see the deterioration of this couple.
  22. Just an observation but I tend to think Big Guy is just a good friend of Martina, maybe old friends (same home town?, school?). Perhaps a date or two in their past history, but just friends now. Seems like a nice guy. It also looked like Alberto was quite annoyed while Big Guy was there, scarcely talking to him and staying as far away as he could on his balcony perch. Fascinating.
  23. You're right. It speaks volumes about Alberto's emotional connection to her. Apparently zilch! She should be renamed "Xanax". She's more of a tension reliever for him than anything else. 😂😂🤣
  24. It was on October 24, about 18:56 in the kitchen. M&A seemed to be making a joke about it but Alberto didn't seem very amused when Martina walked away.
