Politics is what Biden has been doing. At first he was willing to allow Putin to take Ukraine because he didn't want to provoke Putin. He didn't start supplying Ukraine with strategic weapons until there was a large uproar from people around the world against Russia's ruthless attacks on Ukrainian civilians. Biden even said that any U.S. sanctions against Russia were not intended to prevent Russia from invading, but were intended to punish Russia if Russia invaded Ukraine. So no sanctions were put on Russia previous to the invasion.

Now you are trying to rewrite history. Russia didn't start massing troops on the border of Ukraine until the spring of 2021, dumb ass. Putin waited until Biden was president because he knew Biden was just as weak as Barack Obama.

But if all weapons had been supplied before the invasion there may have been no war or the Ukrainians could have defeated Russia before so much of their country had been destroyed. Now I see a prolonged war with much of Ukraine being destroyed and nothing ever being resolved. Ukraine may eventually win the war, but at what cost? They may win the war and still lose their country to destruction. I also believe there are people in the military-industrial complex who just want the war to continue on indefinitely so that they can make money from the war as was the case in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

So people are earning more money and are financially worse off than they were before.

But in the beginning Biden refused to give tanks, air defense system, jets and heavy artillery to Ukraine for fear of provoking Putin and starting WW III. Go back and check videos and news stories at the beginning of the invasion. More chance of Putin using nukes now than before the war started because Putin is now too heavily invested in the war to accept defeat.

Wonder if adding Ukraine would have been worth risking Moscow for Putin.

Maybe before the war started Biden should have told Putin in private if he invades Ukraine that we would nuke Moscow.

That was Biden's plan, not mine you damn fool. It was Biden's State Dept that offered to evacuate Zelenskyy, not me. I thought the offer was ridiculous and emboldened Putin even more. Before the war Biden also indicated that if Putin made only a 'minor incursion into Ukraine' that it would be no big deal. If we and NATO had been more forceful in warning Putin not to invade, the war may have been prevented.

Everyday the war continues more Ukrainian civilians are killed and more of Ukraine is destroyed. Should have worked harder to prevent war in the first place and now should work hard to end the war. You have a short memory. At the beginning of the war Biden's State Dept and the Pentagon had offered to evacuate Zelenskyy from Ukraine and expected the Russians to conquer Ukraine in a matter of weeks.

So be it. Whatever the American people decide through the election process. But I guarantee you that whoever the Republicans choose the U.S. news media will make that person look like one of the most evil and incompetent people in the history of mankind. I hope whoever the Republican nominee is that they have the strength to stand up to the corrupt news media.

What the hell you talking about? I was in favor of giving Ukraine all the arms they requested BEFORE Putin's invasion. If we had done so, Putin may have decided not to invade because he knew the cost would be too high for Russia ( an example of Reagan's doctrine of "peace through strength"). Now we need to figure out how to end the war before it spirals out of control. Also, the U.S. is already almost $32 trillion in debt and we are depleting our own military readiness as we send more of our military equipment to Ukraine.

If DeSantis has skeletons in his closet he had better reveal them immediately, because if Donald Trump knows about them I guarantee you the Democrat political strategists know too. But the Democrats will wait until Desantis becomes the Republican presidential nominee before they release the dirt.

Biden has no choice. He has to run for president in 2024, because as soon as he announces he is not running his presidency is over. He will immediately become a lame duck president and the news media will focus their attention on Biden's successor in the Democratic Party.

And maybe the balloons would be used as a way to get American citizens fired up against Russia and make them more willing to continue giving aid to Ukraine and maybe even get the U.S. directly involved in Ukraine with American troops. Will be interesting to see what country gets blamed for the balloons. Most likely China, but lets see.
