    Well, it's not the first time that I want to say one thing and translation turns into another.

    The fact however is JL is a pleasant surprise (for me), so Discovery.
    The fact that we finally know who and what is the strength of C. Pyke (the link in the entire Star Treck universe), says a lot.
    The same goes for the Whoopy "entity". Promises.🙄
    I believe that JL will bring curiosities and interests of new "generations" to the original series itself.

    Also note that I emphasize since my first post "entity" ...
    many "questions" that may or may not be finally answered.

    I also observe with care not to give spoilers, like the 2 season of Discovery and even the first one has passed.
    What was the theme line addressed.

    Yes, but Discovery brings Cap C. Pyke (in addition to Spock), and JL promises the return of the "entity" Whoopi G ...

    And when I said to encourage the reboot it is precisely to increase the fan hype. Kan's Wrath reboot was unprecedented.

    I confess that for the first episodes of Orville I wrinkled my nose ... for later..Wow !!!
    The same for Lost in Space and now I look forward to season 3.👍

    The way JL's first season ended and how the second season is projected was epic.
    Discovery also detonated. The new (younger) Spock explains a lot.
    Maybe even reinforce the reboot that we already have in cinema.
