If you recall I questioned what was stored behind the large piece of chipboard at the end of the loggia some days ago. The reason the cameras were removed or hidden was so that the people collecting the stuff could not see them and ask questions as to what was going on. I seem to recall Layne being questioned about his cameras once by a visitor and (quick thinking) he said a 24 hour lifestyle video was being made about him, which he could sort of get away with being a musician in a band at the time.

Violet and Jeff have been emptying the shelves and packing clothes into bags in the hall closet (maybe an imminent move?) Alice also spent time in there sorting things out and at the end of the day the cupboard looks remarkably bare and Jeka spending time going through paperwork with them all

Alex can certainly be an asshole when drunk but not tonight. He deserves credit (as does Anna) for dealing with more than one situation that arose during the party. Also he has ended up at Lisa's rather than at home because he had to drive the drunk no-shirt guy home to remove him from the apartment. Because Anna has already gone to sleep and he had to return Misty's boyfriend to here he is now stranded at Lisa's and it is only right that he can crash there. In this instance I don't think the girls mind, in fact they each gave him a goodnight kiss on the cheek, much to his embarrassment. He will probably show Misty's boyfriend down to her apartment before turning in for what is left of the night.

So that was Lisa's 21st birthday party. It seemed to follow the same pattern and have the same traits as most 21st birthday parties I know of: Thought and preparation went into it. The room was decorated There was plenty of food and drink A mix of guests, close friends that could be relied upon and some other acquaintances Some drank a lot others less or not at all Of those that drank a lot, some handled it better than others There was cake! There was music and dancing (of sorts) Some people got a bit over excited Presents were given to the birthday girl Did I say there was cake! A boy became over confident towards a girl (and learnt that it will get you nowhere) Friends stepped in where needed to deal with various differences and disputes which were resolved between those concerned. There was cake! (I might have mentioned this already) At least one boy got a wet finger There was singing Everyone survived, no one was hurt (except maybe a few minor feelings) It carried on into the day after the actual birthday (does that make it a birthdayafter party?) There will be some hangovers and tired people during the following day Friends helped with some of the clearing up All in all, a pretty normal 21st Birthday party Happy Birthday Lisa p.s. did I say there was cake?
