(As for the capture, the funny thing, IMO, is that it might look like you were posing for someone, when in fact you were watching the cat who was very close to the cam 🙂 . The magic and power  - and sometimes danger - of photography, which freezes time in moments that can tell different stories when taken out of context. JMO)

Don't know why, they vaguely remind me here of this painting (Lorenzo Lotto, Hermitage Museum). I very much prefer the modern version 🙂

This is a girl, she is about three years old. We took her from an animal shelter. She was twice abandoned by her family and treated her badly. At the animal shelter they called her Lady, but she does not respond to that name. We want her to choose a more suitable name. We welcome your ideas too.

She looks very affectionate and is always following and rubbing against you. Would нежная (nezhnaya) suit her ? (Or if foreign names are accepted, the English equivalent cuddly, or the French equivalent câline (pronounced : калин, if that doesn't mean anything bad in Russian 😉, although it reminds of the famous Russian song "Kalinka" ) ?  🙂
