My guess would be: planning a relocation: Clara sometimes left the apt with Stas as he was going to work, and came back rather late with him; more and longer phone calls than usual, I think; busy looking for something on their phones, seemed to compare their results; away together for a long time every day this week-end; tired but not worried. Finally, their last guests visited the apt. Potential new tenants??? They might be actively busy working on finding a new apt for themselves (as I can't imagine them leaving the project 😉 ). IMHO. Maybe the future will tell us more.
