I agree with this theory. It's pretty clear to me that all the characters know of the cameras. (RLC itself says that the hosts know and that it would be illegal if they didn't; I would think this would apply to the guests, too.) Some of the sex scenes involved the hosts deliberately keeping the bed cover over themselves--clearly desiring to avoid the camera at the time. RLC probably suggests that the people wear sexy clothes (or be nude) but tells the couples to avoid nudity and sex generally in the free rooms--so that viewers will pay to see the bathrooms and bedrooms. I doubt that in real life they would wear such sexy clothes as much as they do in RLC. They must be paid based on getting viewers to view them--and they probably get paid more based on revenues generated--which means doing things in the bathrooms and bedrooms. If you are correct, that would explain why Olga and Serge were so poor. Most of their sex was under covers...when Olga gave in and HAD sex with Serge. I don't blame her too much, though. She certainly never got anything out of it with him. The best the viewers ever got was seeing her wash in the tub. She wasn't shy about showing everything there.

One of my favorite albums is "Pray". It has music from the Final Fantasy series. At any moment, I might be listening to music sung in English, Japanese, Portuguese, French or Italian. On the other hand, if I'm listening to the music of Civ. IV, I will likely be listening to music sung in Swahili. I don't find it unusual that a Russian couple might enjoy music from Turkey at all.

Two feet from my 27" monitor is probably just as good as 10 feet or more from your 55" TV. Plus, I have TWO monitors...I can watch two cams...full screen...at the same time.

lol. Get a faster computer. I've watched 8 cams simultaneously on my computer without any slowing down. That is because I have a computer built for serious gaming though. I agree. Get a better computer or watch just one at a time. I regularly had 6 screens open on each of two monitors when I used Lisa's previous program. I've never watched Big Brother...here in the US or from any other country. But some years ago, I got hooked on De Gouden Kooi. I watched a multi-cam feed and discussed the happenings with other Dutch people. I would love to see a show like that brought back.

I watched that whole thing happen...including the guy she talked to in the kitchen before the one you are talking about. They were..."customers". Now...that's not to say that Olga didn't move out because of some other guy. Maybe she did, but we never saw him. She was on the phone a lot with SOMEONE in the days before her leaving.

All it would take is one person going to the media and EVERYONE would know there was an apartment that showed sex online. That apartment...and the couple...would be history.

They have never had an English speaking couple...though I'm sure some of the...Nora and Kiko, at least...can speak English to some degree. Whether they ever will...according to some posts, people who have asked RLC about it have been told that they are considering it. Myself...I don't think they will ever have an American couple...at least, not a couple in the US. After the whole VoyeurDorm thing...and the CoffeeCam thing (or whatever it was called)...it's already been established that Americans are too prudish to allow that kind of thing to go on.

I know the question in this thread is about me...and my preferences about who should go next. I'll get to my answer shortly, but first, I'd like to talk about the ones who HAVE left and the conditions they were under at the time. I would also like to talk about who is likely to leave next. Now...Maria and John were before my time and Lina and Mark left after I stopped watching...so I'll confine myself to those who left after and before those two couples. That would be Olga and Serge, Gia and Ian and Alba and Diana. All three of these couples left their apartment under tumultuous and stressful circumstances. For different reasons each couple decided they couldn't live in their apartment any longer. Actually, Olga and Serge probably had the least stressful departure. Olga simply packed up...left...and that was the end of them. There was a bit of drama before that happened, but not as much as with the others. Now....in regards to who is likely to leave next...I think we should look at who is likely to suffer some kind of stressful situation. I think Lora and Max and Alina and Anton are least likely to lose their control enough to leave, though I think Alina should dump Anton. He's worthless and she can do better. Nora and Kiko would be on my short list because of Nora's moodiness. But Kiko is such a pussy/loves her so much (depending on your point of view) that I don't think they will reach the critical mass of stress to have a meltdown. That leaves the newish couples who I haven't really been watching. Out of them, I think Alma and her guy are most likely to have things blow up on them...based only on the few things I've read about them. One last thing before I tell you who I would most like to be the next to go. So far, RLC has not kept one part of a couple while the other leaves. It's always been both stay or both go. So, to those who want, say, Alma to stay while her man leaves...it ain't gonna happen. My choice. I want to see Lora and Max go next. I know they won't have the meltdown necessary to get them to leave, but that's part of the problem. There just isn't that much drama to their lives. They are like a boring old couple. Nothing ever happens. In their place, I'd like to see another lesbian couple.
