19.55 - and the show begins...

A little more information from a conversation they had about Asia's work. It appears that Asia does work in hospitality as a hostess at "one of the best clubs in Prague". The club has seating for 70 and standing for 30, and the government often pays for hospitality for visiting Americans, paying by the hour and with fees of up to 1 million CZK. Asia said that sometimes the government also pays for their hotel and flights. Hakeem has been there before and was shocked at the cover charge - CZK300 to stand, CZK550 for seating. By the way, the program I use to enhance the audio track is freeware called Audacity. You simply run Audacity at the same time as the live or replay stream. The audio can then be processed to filter out noise and make their voices very clear.

Hakeem asked for Asia's work schedule this evening and she confirmed 19.30 to midnight local time. So, approximately a 3-4 hour window for him to indulge in his secret hobby of Lace-making and Macramé

To be quite honest, they both have smartphones and like any other connected people on this planet it's reasonable to assume that they'd have kept in touch by text or social media. Whatever reason Hakeem gave to Asia, she accepted it and everything was fine when he finally returned. There were no clues given as to what the reason was. The bag: there were no clothes or shoes left in the bag, and only about half of the food Hakeem took with him, which he put back in the cupboards while Asia watched, no questions asked. Putting the evidence together - Hakeem was called by a friend in need of help - they didn't speak English so the language may have been Yoruba - and although Hakeem was annoyed that he'd have to go out of his way to help, he did. Like a good Samaritan, Hakeem packed some clothes and food and took them to his friend, who now has the clothes and shoes and some of the food. Keep an eye out for their reappearance! The money: Hakeem took this out of a side pocket of the bag. He was completely open about it and gave it to Asia who was fascinated by all the different banknotes - Croatia and South Africa were mentioned - and Hakeem explained that on his travels around the world he keeps a banknote as a souvenir of the countries he's been to. Asia and Hakeem discussed the various pictures on the notes and their value. Asia also spotted some unusual food that Hakeem had put on the table. He encouraged her to taste one and had to explain to Asia how to eat it. She didn't like the taste and while laughing at her reaction, he explained that they were cola nuts, used as a pick-me-up medicine in Africa. He showed her more information about the nuts on his smartphone. The rest of their conversation was about Hakeem fondling her boobs, etc. "I'm so tired" she said. Hakeem did promise to follow Asia to the bedroom but, of course, he didn't. Let's face it, we like to think we know a lot about the pair but we still know so little!

I've now gone back on Replay to get the full story. Just before packing, Hakeem spoke on the phone - the enhanced audio could pick out that he was speaking to another man. Hakeem was not speaking English, except at the end of the call when he said "OK, I'll come". He wasn't very happy about this because he sucked his teeth many times - a habit amongst many Africans to express annoyance. Hakeem packed one travel bag with enough clothes for a few days. He left behind most of his shirts and jackets in the wardrobe. He had also taken shoes and boots out of the travel bag (to make room for the clothing) and threw them on the BR floor. Back in the kitchen he covered the leftovers of the food he had prepared on the cooker top. He then packed two bags of store cupboard food into another plastic bag and put it in the travel bag with the clothes. In the hallway, he packed two pairs of shoes or trainers. Finally, in the LR he typed a long text, went to the bathroom, applied spray cologne, and left the apartment. OK, that's exactly what happened - make of it what you will. IMHO - he has not left the apartment for good, or at least not yet. The more likely explanation is that he's been called out on a work assignment, but as usual, that's a guess.

Just looked back on Replay and the answer is no. He packed around half of the contents of the drawers and there are still a few of his larger clothes (jackets, mainly) in the wardrobe, so he's not gone for good yet. Whatever he's up to, it doesn't appear to include Asia. However, many suggestions made here, including my own, have been wrong before. There may be something going down that we have yet to become aware of.

21.03 and he's gone. What a c**t.

Yep, still lots of clothes in the wardrobe but he's packing like he means it, including food from the kitchen.

There's a strong likelihood of "guilt sex" with Asia tonight, then.

Eva has been really provoking Sam this evening - wandering around naked and presenting her ass to him. He thinks he's got lucky at last so gets ready for action - only to be cock-blocked again. Even Asia is leaving the apartment for very long periods of time. Up to now, the only time she left was for short trips out - possibly shopping / friends - or for work. Maybe she's finally realised that always waiting for Hakeem is wasted time. Mr Boombastic Lover Lover may have gone a step too far. The best thing that could happen is if Asia finds an alternative love interest to reinject some life and intrigue into the apartment

Asia may have thought so - she did a thorough tour around every room in the apartment looking for stuff this morning before she went out. She was either checking for any sign that Hakeem had been home and gone again while she was asleep, or if any of his stuff was missing. Yet another strand added to the web that A&H are weaving. 😵

What makes this so strange is that E&S are still so pleasant to each other - smling, laughing, light kisses and cuddles, enjoying a cigarette together, and never a raised voice or obvious argument. Last night, when Eva was preparing a bed in the LR, I'm sure that Sam thought Christmas had come early. He made his move - and got cock-blocked again. I'll ask again - can anyone with Russian language skills help us to understand what's going on? This apartment used to be one of my favourites, certainly in my top three for entertainment value. Not any more.
