Don't take it personally.  Some people (like myself) are sensitive to what we d/l on our computers. Foolish of me to spend good money on anti-spam and/or anti-virus software and not take heed.

I'm not saying your file is bad. But getting to the file is a different story. I'll take the well paved road  to a destination vs one with pot holes that may damage my car.

Pour ton anti DMCA, pourquoi un .exe ?

J'ai aussi un PC mais utilise  plus un Mac.

Je n'ai donc pas essayé de le récupérer sur un PC. J'ai uBlock Mac qui me bloque 3 requêtes sur ton lien mais ça marche. Howard a certainement raison pour un problème. Quand on n'a pas d'alertes ce n'est pas signe que tout va bien mais que le problème n'est pas détecté. Parfois, oui, ca peut être une False Positive mais comment en être sûr !!

Un simple Zip (de la vidéo) ne suffit pas ?  Tu as certainement une raison. D'autant qu'un .exe est justement considéré comme potentielleent dangereux pour les anti-malwares car c'est justement un exécutable. Du temps de la préhistoire il arrivait que l'on change le .exe pour que ça passe dans les mails et le zip suffisait sauf les antivirus qui analysaient dans les zip s'il y avait un .exe et en trouvaient. Pour un mp4, ... no problem.

En tout cas, si ca marche contre le DMCA c'est déjà très bien mais Mac compatible serait la totale.

And as you say, if you buy a soft for safety reason it's good to follow it when it says there is some risk !!

The .exe  is actually a 7-Zip file.  The Zip file will be extracted to a Video one the Password has been entered.  

I don't know why a Zip file would show as .exe File.  .exe Files play havoc with Anti-Virus and Malware Software.

It's a zip file but an auto extractable zip, so an .exe file.

In the past, in my company all the .exe files were canceled in the mails.

An auto extractable zip is an .exe file so not OK on a Mac.

A .zip file is OK for PC or Mac and need a unZip software whatever it is.

If the reason is the anti DMCA solution, it's OK. If it's just to be auto extractable on a PC it's a shame for Mac users. Leora 🙄uses a Mac

The File is still subject to DMCA Takedowns. Just RLC has to do a little more work to get the Credentials.

I myself never had any problem downloading the file as I use WinRAR for extracting any Files.

- Et j'ai choisi un SFX pour faciliter l'extraction à un maximum de personne. 7zip crypter est solide avec pass.

-Si je UP une vidéo on est mort, si je UP un RAR/ZIP/7ZIP, il y aura toujours des noobs pour demander comment extraire. SFX (exe inclus le programme d’extraction) est pour moi la meilleur solution.

Et Zip ne crypte pas les fichiers même avec pass, donc possible de voir le contenue sans extraire. Je vais tester les prochain UP avec Winrar.

Le plus important à retenir de ces tests est qu’il ne faut pas mettre de lien. Ils utilisent surement des scripts qui trace l’origine des fichiers héberger, impossible d’en connaitre le contenue sous cette formes. Et Camcaps doit être Blacklister.

-If I UP a video we are dead, if I UP a RAR / ZIP / 7ZIP, there will always be noobs to ask how to extract. SFX (exe included the extraction program) is for me the best solution.

And Zip does not encrypt files even with pass, so you can see the contents without extracting. I will test the next UP with Winrar.

The most important thing to keep in mind about these tests is not to put a link. They probably use scripts that trace the origin of files to host, impossible to know the content in this form. And Camcaps must be Blacklist.

Absolutely NO problems downloading @nath75 uploaded videos. Programs such as "Defender" or "Malwarebytes" are NOT the best AV software, although I have used them in the past. I use https://www.f-secure.com which, in my opinion is the best AV program atm.

I am using ABlock Plus, Ghostery and F-secure. I don't get pop-ups, ads or any other crap. Although Windows will show a warning, even when Defender is disabled, of potential danger, my AV program ignores this. If the file posses a REAL danger then my AV will block it.

BTW, I am using Google Chrome in Windows 10

F-secure...NOT the best program for its job. Neither for some may be Malwarebytes or Defender.  All I can say is for the past 15+ years, I've used Malwarebytes on my home computers and 11 networked stations (and server) in my office. Between Malwarebytes and ESET NOD 32, we've been virus & spam free.  Data on these computers much more valuable then trying to download any smut on the interwebs.
