pianeta5 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Hi everybody! Which is it, in your opinion, the best software to record RLCs? I used rtmpdump in the past, but now it works only for the free cams, not for the pay ones (I've a member accounts, so I need to records member cams too). Now I use tubedigger, it's very good to record free and pay cams. The only problem is that with tubedigger the connection is not stable, I mean: sometime I can record ut to 6 or 7 hours continuosly, but very oftet the connection drops after 1 or 2 hours (it stops recording the selected stream and sometimes it switches to recording the cam 3.1). I dislike desktop recording software as the video quality it's not very good. So, what do you use?
JoJoGunne Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Back when I used to record the RLC cams I used Replay Video Capture. The program worked well, lots of options, etc. But it cost money...unless you pirate it, of course.
itsme Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 ocam is the best one that I've used. Someone recommended it here. It's free.
pianeta5 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 well! till now all screen recorder software... but anybody else does use stream recording instead?

Guest Squirrel Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I've been using ocam on a slow miserable Win 7 system, and it's very good but sometimes buggy; I've got a few others I use on a faster Linux system ... but --- Somebody has been posting exquisitely high-rez images on CC and we'd like you to speak up on this subject. Thank you.
Brureb28 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I tried Ocam in the past on my windows 8...it worked great for a few days..then when I tried to record all i get is a blank white screen. Not sure what is going on
Antares. Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 J'utilise oCam et je n'ai aucuns soucis d'enregistrement.... Je suis sous Seven.
MGB Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 "Only downside is that I have sometimes recorded over streams due to the fact that it doesn't timestamp the recordings. I have lost several hours of good stuff this way....." Use the latest build from here, it adds a date same so you do not over copy. http://stream-recorder.com/forum/customized-rtmpdump-binaries-patch-file-t16103.html

Because I've been able to make it work only with free cams even if I've a member account!
See Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I unzipped two packages in the same folder, and it records all the cameras, without any parameter changes.
pianeta5 Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Very well! But does no one use just RTMPdump, without RTMPdumpHelper?
