Do you think Ice Dancing should even be included in the Olympics? Like so many more events, it requires judges, their subjective judgements and art --- always subjective. Do you think the Olympics -- as originally practiced -- should be limited to objective athletic competition where there there is a winner and loser without some fricken' judge's opinion in the way? The Greeks didn't include cuteness in their Olympics. Why should we? Why isn't race car driving and chess included in today's Olympics? WTF why do things that are clearly art included in something that should be a win/loss competition? Why isn't there an Olympic competition for composing a good song or writing a novel--that takes a lot of skill, mental work, and physical stress-- too? Gimme a clearly objective winner and loser. Dump all politics and nationalism from Olympics. Then maybe I'll watch the show... Your thoughts, please. I would think because it's the "Winter Olympics".

I probably wouldn't watch that, either. I'm scanning my antenna TV channels for reruns of "Twilight Zone" as we speak!
