Easy on the "far north" reference.  Speak for yourself...lol.  I live at exactly the same latitude as Cannes in France.

I'm amazed at how far north they are in Barcelona yet how moderate the temperatures stay.... I don't think I've ever seen it in the 30's or the 90's....

And I live on the same latitude as Moscow and yet it hardly ever snows here.

Supposedly it once snowed 🌨 in Miami in 1976, I was a little kid, but all I saw was frost on the car's windshield
