Use these things with caution if you have a turbo charged engine. They will clean the injector tips, but at the same time work loose little bits of carbon within the cylinders that will flow out with the exhaust. These bits of carbon will get into the turbo drive vanes and work their way into the seal separating the drive from the intake vanes and damage the seals. This will cause crankcase oil used to cool the turbo bearings to be introduced into the engine causing untold internal damage to the combustion chambers.

Short answer: Don't use cheap gasoline or stale diesel. Buy from a name brand for gasoline or a high volume diesel seller. Diesel gets algae in it when sitting in the tank too long.

Good luck getting real OEM parts for that car 'across the pond'.
