A bit strange this Rachel's situation. Looks like the guy is flirting with her and se is keeping a minimum distance from him. Earlier she was on a phone call with her BF and seems that she rushed to end the conversation, she even told him that se was on her bed at that time, as if she was about to sleep.

Maybe she's jealous of Rachel having the guy around.  Could be why the dude is there.
