[And] Then He Kicked Me

Well, he walked up to me

And he asked me if I wanted to die

He looked kinda mean

And so I said, "Please don’t make me cry"

Then he lunged, and held me tight

And when he punched my face that night

All his friends had formed a line

So they could kick me

Each time I saw him

I knew he would kick me again

I wanted to tell my dad

But he'd just likely join in

I didn't know just what to do

So I whispered, "Alahu"

But before I could get out the “Akhbar” part

He really kicked me

He kicked me in a place

That I've never been kicked before

He kicked me in the way that

You might kick a dog or a whore

I knew from that time

It was going to get really bad

The very next day he appeared at my home

To beat my mom and my dad

Then he asked me to be his bride

And always be right by his side

I told him that I was only nine

And then he kicked me

Then he asked me to be his bride

And always be right by his side

I told him that I was only nine

And then he kicked me,

And then he kicked me,

And then he kicked me
